I just wanted to share a little tip to fellow moms feeding their infants solid food. When feeding Oatmeal to them... and it's a little hot. Cool it down BEFORE bringing it to the table. I made some oatmeal for a little snack for the three of us (Robbie, Alyssa and me) and Robbie and I were blowing on it to cool it down.
Well, Alyssa doesn't quite have the right order down, but she's desperate to participate. The result was her taking a spoonful of oatmeal, then blowing... it all over me. Not pleasant.
Just thought I'd share this little tip so you can learn from my mistakes... by the way, it made for a great moment between brother and sister though as they both saw the humor in something I was failing to see.
