Tulip Festival

My parents are in town for a few days. It was perfect timing for the Tulip Festival. Every year I like to take the kids to see the fields of color. The tulip fields also make for some great pictures. Some of my favorite pictures of Robbie have been taken with the fields as the backdrop. It seems that the fields bring everyone happiness. Tulips make me happy and my kids make me happy, so they make for some nice days.

The tulips were newly opened and vibrant! They look fake in many of the pictures. It was really a beautiful site. To those that live in the area, now is the time to see them. Of course, we went to Tulip Town and I think it's a favorite one-stop-shop for most. It's nice they have everything in one place rather than having to drive around to different fields.

I think one of my favorite pictures this year is of the two boys running along the side of the field. It gives you an idea of how large those fields really are. Anyhow, we had perfect weather and a great time. It's a nice tradition.
