I think he's sick, I think he's not

Since Tuesday of last week, Robbie has been sick... we think. It's a strange illness if that's what it is. He's fine during the day... eats fine, no fever, lots of energy, etc. Then... he crashes! Somewhere between 2:00 and 4:00 pm, he gets a high fever (normally between 103 and 105). But that's it... his only symptom is this fever. He takes a few power naps, he's miserable the rest of the time and we finally get him down around 10:00 to only start the whole thing over again the next day.

So, what have we been doing to cope? We plan all our outings and errands for before 1:00 so we are sure we are home when he crashes. It's a little crazy. But for once, he's been very consistent.

We set an appointment at the doctors for him today around 4:15... but by 3:45 he wasn't showing any signs so we rescheduled for tomorrow. It seems silly to take him in if he doesn't have a fever - as that is his only visible symptom.

I'm crossing my fingers, because it's now almost 5:00 and no fever! Of course, throughout the course of the week, it's been happening later in the day so we aren't out of the woods yet...
