Making the most of small spaces

Today is a beautiful day! It's in the high 60s and there is a nice breeze outside that brings cool air in. Robbie and I went outside a little earlier and played a bit of soccer. His kick is getting really good... and it's pretty accurate when he is paying attention. Of course, most of the time he is being silly and silliness does not lead to accuracy.

Of course, my back started to hurt so I had to bring him inside. He wasn't very happy about that since, to him, there seemed no reason not to be outside. So, I took another plastic tub (I'm calling it his apartment pool) and put water in it.

He's having a great time! Of course, I didn't plan for him to get all the way in, as you see he has done, so we have quite the heavy diaper right now. Anyhow, thought I would share some pictures. Not only has it occupied him for an hour and still counting, but my plants are getting watered too! Yeah me!
