Yellow Day!

Ever look at a color and have it evoke certain feelings? Yellow does that for me. And it isn't the normal bright, cheery feelings. No. it does much more than that for me, yellow makes me think of Robbie... my son. It's his favorite color and it is quickly becoming mine.

This morning he declared today "Yellow Day". Last week his grandmother sent him a box that contained nothing but yellow colored items. There were yellow moraccas, yellow balloons, yellow paint, a yellow car and much more. We made that day yellow day, although I wasn't very prepared for it then.

So today, when he wanted today to be "Yellow Day", I went with it. He wore his new yellow shirt and we went in search of all things yellow. You wouldn't believe the amount of yellow cars and trucks that are out on the road until you point each and every one out.

"Yellow Day" was an excellent idea on my son's part. It made for a great day of bright and cheer colors and just look how happy yellow makes him!
