Roo!

What a fantastic day we had yesterday. Robbie called it family day. We went to Edmonds Beach (it was in the 80s) and everyone (Robbie, Mommy, Daddy and Chewy) had a great time. We saw a starfish on the beach that was still alive, we saw big barnacles with sea snails on them and we trudged through lots of seaweed at low tide. It was great! Of course, Robbie wasn't so impressed with all the sea creatures. He was too concerned with staying clean and not letting a single grain of sand touch him.

After the beach, we went and had lunch Anthony's Beach Cafe. Robbie of course ordered his usual - doesn't matter what restaurant we are at, his favorite plate is calamari. And while we waited for our food, our son made us the proudest parents ever. Look at his first attempt to writing his name. What a beautiful R and so deliberate. He's only 2! (okay, almost 3, but still!) He got a little distracted when it came to the B... but who cares! Look at that R!!!

As he would say... Robbie is intellicent!
