Pee Pee in the Potty!

That's seems to be the favorite song these days. Robbie has really taken to peeing in the potty... not that he doesn't make mistakes. He makes about two mistakes a day... which is great for the boy that refused to tinkle in the toilet.

Of course, he waited us out until we upped the asking price. He now gets a sticker on his chart an a quarter for every pee in the potty (and poo... although we've only had one of those). In addition, once he reaches a certain amount, he gets a new puzzle. That was the clincher for him. We mentioned puzzles and suddenly he's a pro! Of course, we are going broke... but I guess it's the amount we would be paying for diapers anyhow.

Here are the top three potty moments this weekend...

1 - Shopping with daddy yesterday at the grocery store... Robbie tells his daddy he has to go pee - and daddy makes it to the bathroom in time!
2 - Peeing in the toilet at the athletic club after soccer - this was his first time away from home!
3 - Pee and poo in the toilet - this was the beginning of the big change. He got two quarters and two stickers and he only had to sit on the toilet once!

Okay, so a vulgar subject, but a proud one for us nonetheless. We couldn't be more proud of him. He's taking huge strides in growing up. It's a little scary for us... but at the same time, with the prospect of a new baby, it's a welcome change.
