Today, Robbie received mail from the Screen Actor's Guild. I couldn't help but laugh. It said that because of the principal role he played in the Mervyn's commercial, he qualified to become a member. Ummmm.... he's not even 5 yet! I don't get it. I'm sure I don't have a full understanding of this "privilege", but it seems like we have a few years to figure it out.
I think the agency mentioned something about only being able to do a few union jobs before he will have to join a union... but these all seem like things that either we shouldn't have to deal with because of his age... or I don't want to have to deal with.
